The synchronization between ARIS Business Architect for SAP and SAP Solution Manager ensures the reusability of business processes in the technical implementation. This provides business and IT with a single view of all business processes and the associated requirements, which fosters efficient communication throughout the entire company. In this breakout session, the fundamentals of business process management with ARIS Business Architect for SAP and SAP Solution Manager are explained. After an overview of SAP Solution Manager, focusing in particular on its implementation functions, the synchronization functionality between ARIS Business Architect for SAP and SAP Solution Manager is explained. It is shown, how this will allow for a consistent management of processes, from business requirements all the way through the implementation to finally managing test cases and operating and maintaining the system. The practical part of the breakout session begins with a look at the implementation functions of SAP Solution Manager (project administration, business blueprint, configuration, testing). Next, the synchronization of business processes between ARIS Business Architect for SAP and SAP Solution Manager is demonstrated on the basis of a case study, outlining a typical usage scenario for the combined usage of the tools. |
